The original Dories were from people originally from the area, who migrated to the north, around the middle of Europe, after the latest disaster. Later on, when the Turanians invaded, albeit slowly, they would -- as was their practice -- enslave the native populations and mix with them. Through the generations, however, the Dravidian and Pelasgian DNA tend to repair themselves, and return to its original characteristics. Eventually, those who invaded from Asia assumed the name of the people they had conquered. Thus, not all of them were products of intermixing.
The Latins and Romans also, were not all the migrants from that wave. Most of them were already settled in the region, but eventually were conquered and ruled by the new arrivals. Hence, many of the Latins and Romans share a ton of similar genetic and anthropological characteristics with the other neighboring nations.
One good example of this is modern Turkey, where its main ruling class is still of Turanian origin, but much of its population does not share that lineage.
Hi Vasileios,
where did the Dories come from ? And, since they went to rome, does it mean that they were whites ?
It doesn''t seem that the latins/romans had mongolic/turkish traits.
Hey, Marco.
